Orbs & Seeing Cords

does anyone else see the energy connections between people or these black orb like things? i think what these might be are the ends? of negative cords between ppl. Anyone out there see the energy links, hooks, cords, etc?

I've been "seeing" energy exchanges for a while now, and just wanted to chat with others about it all, their experiences, and tools they have used, etc. Just seeking like minded people. For example, recently learning that what looks like a black orb is actually the end of an astral cord, usually connected to the more negative part of a person, the darker aspects they carry with them or "project" in order to feed off others. Some start off black, like wisps in the air....in time, they turn brown, and eventually become white. What i've noticed with these "changes" is that a negative, bitter person nearby, starts to open up, and others in the area get nastier. So the dark chord is transformed? by my presence, or no longer affects me, and the 'feeder', the living person, gets angry because i won't give them what they want anymore {and / or} others in the same house "change for the better", and i am seen as the 'problem'.

 

Just been seeking a site where i can share my journeys, things learned, and feedback from others on how to deal with other "stuff". I guess you could say I've been on the path my entire life, and just need someone to talk to

Well, I have seen the energy lines but I have not seen any orbs. The grappling hooks present pretty well how the chords connect to you but I have perceived them as being connected everywhere not just the solar plexus.
One way to get rid of them is to use a practice of “cord cutting”. The principle, as I know it, is to visualize the cord, then set the intent to 1. regain the energy that is yours, 2. to release the energy that belongs to the other end and then see what happens. Interesting stuff. (Seems to be somewhat along the lines of the recapitulation practice) Whatever remains may or may not have to be then cut by non-physical means.

I'm an empath. Before the event when I was ten, I used to see colored cords connecting people to each other, to animals, to elements, to plants, to nature, to things (manmade objects), etc. The cords varied. Each color represented an emotion. The strength/vibrancy of the color signified how strongly someone felt. The thickness of the cord told me how long someone felt that way. 

Those are different to the cords that you're talking about. But when I was ten, I experienced a shift of the way I perceive things.. Now I can feel things, but cannot see in my mind's eye. Having learned and grown and progressed on my journey since then, I've been able to recognize other types of energy workings. They may very well be energy exchange, as Phoenix Raven Littlemoon has described.

In my experiences, I've come across vampiric people. (Vampire, in my opinion, is one that can't produce enough of something, so must take it from someone or something else--another source). Some knowingly feed off of others. And some don't know that they're doing so. 

There is a couple of books, one called "Hands of Light", and the other called "Light Emerging". I can't remember the author's name right now (I just began reading it before I had a crazy busy week of doing nothing spiritually productive), but they talk about cords of light between people.
