Classes at Shamans Cave have a new name, The Caverns. The name may be new, but the classes are the same ones developed over many years here. This version of the classes began November 5th, 2005.

How Classes Work At The Caverns
Courses here at The Caverns cover an entire tradition and as such take some time to work through. Because it is a full tradition you cannot pick and choose classes just for fun, students find working through them from the beginning to be the most edifying and practical. Please do not ask us to let you start at the master level, it is not in your best interest.
Classes are held on a private IRC (Internet Relay Chat) server, this helps to prevent connection issues and allows you to keep logs of your own class. We provide edited logs as well, which you can access as long as Shamans Cave may be around. You can access the direct link to the chat channel here.
Classes run an hour or hour and half depending on student participation, so come with questions about the subject of the class. When you sign up for a class you get access to your own private class forum, edited logs for your class and access to the student section where you will find additional material with more being added all the time.

Not all classes are offered each session, we arrange our offerings based on what continuing students need and beginning classes are changed as well, although some of the beginning classes are foundational and are offered most sessions.
