What kind of healing do we provide?

We provide shamanic energetic healing as practiced within the Maker contemporary shamanic tradition. This shamanic tradition has been primarily a closed, family tradition from approximately 400AD until this past generation. Since then, this tradition has been taught to outsiders via in-person and online instruction through shamanscave.com.

In our healing work, Makers move energy directly to create or re-establish balance within a client's energy bodies with our intent and will, and often with the elements of wind, fire, earth, and water as allies. Shamanic healing may be sought for physical and mental relaxation, pain management, and anxiety & stress reduction. We create energetic opportunities for the client if they choose to continue with self-healing after the session.

Shamanic healing comprises noninvasive energetic techniques, still being researched by traditional science, and currently has no known detrimental side effects.

All volunteer healers approach healing from a detached and compassionate standpoint. There are no "cords" or "links" held between the client and Maker healers. There is no expectation for the client to respond or follow-up after the healing session, though feedback and verification is appreciated. Nothing can or will be done that goes against the client's energetic agreement with the Maker healers.

Who are the people in the Maker healing lab collective?

The Maker healing lab collective is not a business, religious organization, or medical institution of any kind. We are a group of private individuals from around the world who have been taught and are practiced in the Maker contemporary shamanic tradition between 6 and 50 years. The Maker healing lab collective, itself, has worked primarily privately through word-of-mouth for the past 25 years, but has recently decided to open our volunteered offerings on a limited basis to the wider public.

Who do we help?

We are willing to help anyone in need, with no regard to religion, faith, belief, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, etc. If someone is able to contact us and give us their permission to help, we are able to help them, their dependents, or their pets.

We can assist with everything from mild, persistent issues to life threatening conditions. All we require is the client’s energetic agreement, their first and last name, their general location (city, state, country), and a description of their condition with a mention of their main goal for healing.

What happens with a client’s personal information?

We consider the information you submit private and do not share it with anyone outside of the Maker healing lab collective members in a private, secured forum that we use for our healing work; provided, that ShamansCave processes the information you submit as needed for the purposes of shamanic energy healing, including using third-party email plug-ins to process information submitted in online forms.

ShamansCave uses the shamanic energy healing information it receives only for shamanic energy healing purposes.

Should the client still see a medical doctor for their condition?

Shamanic energy healing is not, and is not intended as, a substitute for professional medical or mental health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We are not, nor are we holding ourselves out to be, your doctor, nurse, psychiatrist, therapist, social worker, or other medical or mental health professional.

As such, we are not a substitute for medical treatment, as we do not practice medicine, and we do not provide medical advice. In fact, we strongly encourage clients to seek professional medical care for any conditions that they are concerned about. Being a contemporary shamanic tradition, the Makers prefer to work in tandem with the allopathic and integrative medical models to provide the best results possible for the client. Examples: We can work toward providing a more effective surgery with less post-op complications. Or, we can help create a more substantial, whole-person healing for someone going through chemotherapy, for instance.

What if nothing has not been effective for a client’s condition?

Oftentimes, we are contacted for healing after all of the traditional medical efforts have been made. These “hopeless cases,” in particular, are the ones where we can possibly be most helpful. It is incumbent upon us to mention that there are some cases where no amount of energetic healing or medical treatment is enough. However, we approach every client’s case with all of the effort and skill we have to provide a better outcome. What is the process for receiving a healing?

The client submits a healing request using the online form on this page. Submissions are accepted, reviewed, and queued by a Maker. The collective currently meets virtually once weekly to work on 2-3 individuals during the healing lab session. We work as a group to help newer healers learn more nuanced energetic healing approaches to complex health conditions that we encounter; this the “lab” aspect.

After the session, one of the Makers will follow-up with the client to discuss the healing. Clients are given the opportunity to provide the collective with updates to their condition if they wish, as well. While we are not attached to any outcomes from the healing work, we appreciate that the client follow-up helps us hone our seeing and healing skills through verification.

Please note that the Maker healing lab collective works on a limited basis, so we may not be able to do a healing for every submission we receive. If we are unable to help you in a timely manner, we will inform you.

What does the client need to do during a healing?

The short answer is “nothing.” There is no preparation required or involved, and, oftentimes, the client does not feel anything during a healing. This does not make it less powerful or effective. The Makers work on the client’s energy bodies, and, sometimes, even unweave time in their healing approaches… so an immediate physical reaction during the healing may not occur. However, it is not unusual for recipients of shamanic healing to report experiencing the relaxation response and an increased sense of well-being and peace.

Confidentiality/Client Rights

I understand and agree that confidentiality of any information I submit is subject to any exceptions set forth in the Privacy Policy, and in particular, I confirm that I am aware that:

1.  If permitted by applicable law, I may instruct ShamansCave in writing to release any shamanic energy healing information I submit to my health care practitioners.

2. Confidentiality of any information I submit is always subject to any exceptions required by applicable law or regulations, including any local, state, federal or other laws and regulations.

3. ShamansCave may release any information I submit if subpoenaed or otherwise legally obligated or reasonably allowed to do so (Including circumstances where there is clear and imminent danger to myself or another person).

4.
